Current Projects?
[edit]The section entitled 'Current Projects' is mostly describing work during 2005 - 2007. I have retitled this section 'More recent work', which stops it being constantly out of date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.158.140.251 (talk) 04:58, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
I am not sure the title "Recent work" is truly applicable as it dates back to 2005 now. Perhaps the best way is to have a series of chronological paragraphs for each of the works she has appeared in. How is this handled with other tv/movie people? Surely there is a standard way of doing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.174.54.123 (talk) 08:51, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
TV Work - Nurses
[edit]Nurses is listed as a TV Movie. It was actually a pilot for a comedy series that was not picked up by the network. 'TV Movie' is inaccurate. 31.53.87.132 (talk) 03:12, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- The same can be said for the entry, The Saint. This was a backdoor pilot that was never picked up, and, to my knowledge, never actually aired anywhere. The cast of the thing have since moved on to other projects because the pilot didn't sell. To be described as a "TV movie" a production has to actually appear on television. 12.233.147.42 (talk) 02:07, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
Charity Work
[edit]I am adding a note about her charity work under personal see http://www.tharcegulu.org/?page_id=14 for proof 146.115.184.231 (talk) 03:33, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
Citizenship
[edit]"While on her second visit to Albania in 2011, she applied for Albanian citizenship and obtained the Albanian passport and ID Card. She became an honorary citizen of Tirana,[43] and was given the honorary title of Tirana Ambassador of Culture and Tourism in the World by Tirana mayor Lulzim Basha.[44][45] Additionally, she was given honorary citizen status in her father's home town of Korce, Albania." Ok. Interesting. Does she now have dual-citizenship based on these actions? What is the status of her United States citizenship? i suspect she is now dual citizen- but something to check/verify. Ancestry
[edit]Half-Albanian, the other half is more complex:
Maternal grandfather: Capt. (USN) Richard Costley Rasmussen, the son of Aaron (Aron) Frederick Rasmussen and Nancy Blanche Costley. Aaron born Utah, the son of Danish parents, Lars Rasmussen, from Vordingborg, Sjælland, and Wilhelmina Hansina Clemensen, from Copenhagen. Nancy was the daughter of Richard Joseph Costley, first-generation Irish-American (both parents Irish), and of Rebecca Homer, of English-American heritage.
Maternal grandmother: Barbara Porter Hegsted, daughter of John Hegsted and Edna Margaret Porter. John born Utah, to Danish parents, Hans Christian Sorensen Hegsted and Ane Christine Olsen Iverson. Edna was the daughter of Aaron Benjamin Porter and Rebecca Margaret Poole, and was of mostly English-American, but also at least 1/32nd German, ancestry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.186.220.82 (talk) 09:42, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for that; a source or sources would be great. In terms of assessing the article wording, that leaves solid Albanian paternal lineage, and on the maternal side an American mix of 25% Danish heritage, 17%+ English, 6.25% Irish, and a fractional German element. I am not sure how much this level of detail is relevant to reflect in actual article wording. SeoR (talk) 12:36, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
Sexual Misconduct and allegations against Joss Whedon
[edit]Has there ever been any explanation why she wanted to work with Whedon again in '09 if there had been prior problems at the set of Buffy? Isn't there some kind of disconnect? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:D9:F17:4300:5DA1:390E:A6AD:FF84 (talk) 18:10, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
- From the cited source in article about Carpenter's abuse[1], it states Dushku said she hadn't known about Whedon's alleged abuse of power towards Carpenter. If she didn't know about it in '21, she didn't know about it in '09. Also not sure an explanation would be even needed. There are instances where people have worked with people after abuse to themselves or others, its not uncommon nor would there be any kind of disconnect. WikiVirusC(talk) 18:34, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
