What is the purpose of the "Playmobil Games" entry? Most specifically, the item: "Laura?" This section should probably be removed.

There's a series of video games that takes place in the Playmobil universe. I don't know much about them, but I'll edit that section title so it makes some sense. Ergbert 02:40, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Pictures

There should be a close picture showing the differences between males and females, and another showing the articulation of hands, legs and feet.

Systems

I'm researching Playmobile toys, and I see things like Steck-System and System-X. I can't figure out what they mean exactly. It seems like an encyclopedia would be get a good place to explain that. -ErinHowarth 04:57, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

The system-x is the way that the new (since the 80') playmobil structures are now being assembled with the iron key and the small usually yellow connection cubes that have en x pattern "on" them . 62.219.74.211 (talk) 09:08, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

Supersets

Here's another question: What is super about super sets? Are the big sets? Do they have more pieces than most sets? -ErinHowarth 05:03, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

They have a good range of playmobil characters. Take the Knight's super set. It includes a blacksmith a robber, a bridge tile, and a horseback knight. The average set is more like 3 soldiers or a catapult and 2 soldiers. 78.16.220.161 (talk) 12:37, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Super set´s are simple "playable sets" whit more men or whit a playable theme, the problem here is the use of "super" in german language, were it more means "cool" or "great". It was an is in german only a phrase to say something ist better or bigger than a standard pack, but at a bit lower cost at all.31.17.56.28 (talk) 23:14, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

The "Construction" Set

I've been watching this page on my old account for over a year now... I've always questioned the authenticity of the Trivia bit about one of the first sets involving construction workers and beer. If this is true, could someone cite it?

Actually there were brown crates with 6 green bottles each in the set. But in germany most beers are bottled in brown glass. Green glass is widely used for wine and mandatory for medicinal waters. Brown crates however are assigned solely to non-alcoholic beverages in the nationwide deposit system. I've deleted the trivium on the basis of the above comment (it wasn't beer) and also because the first construction set was 3201, with workers but no bottles. The bottles appeared in 3202. - Metalello ^talk 02:32, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Just A hint from germany: we have a lot of beer, developed in green, brown and clear glas bottels. The colour of the glas is for the flavor of the beer. "Warsteiner" is a Brown beer, but "becks" is a green beer, my problem is, that I can´r discripe the flavor, because "herb"(in german) dos not mean the same like herb in english. 31.17.56.28 (talk) 23:14, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Commercials

Playmobil currently has 9 commercials as of 31/5/2010. Police, Egyptains, Recycling Bin, Hospital, Pirates, Police Seaplane, Pony Farm, Coast Guard and Safari Park.

Themes names

Are you really sure that there ever has been promotion for the Castles as "Steck Castle"? At least in Germany i would not know of any separate promotion of either building type ("Steck"system or "System X") of the castle away from the main "Knights" Theme. If the contributor did just mean that today all the castles (like every other building of the range) are "System X" and Steck-buildings are no longer available this should rather go into a section of its own rather than to invent Themes that never existed in this form!

Also there is definitely a mention of the "Western" theme missing from the list (as "discontinued"). --92.50.94.35 (talk) 18:53, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Merge proposal

introduction

the current introduction is not an introduction, as it mentions "examples" that are not even mentionned in the body of the article. The introduction should just have a sentence about the fact that there are various series with some limited editions, and a longer discussion should be in the body of the text. I'd write it if I knew anything about it, I'm just pointing to how to improve the article, for people who actually know something about the subject. --2.37.41.63 (talk) 19:36, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

In the paragraph "Products and licensing", there is mention to a brazilian toy factory named TROL. The link that is provided is incorrect; it points to "troll", which has nothing to do with the toy company. Pictures to add

I wonder why there are no photos of the toys on this article. What kind of photos are acceptable? I previously added photos of Barbies on that article and they were removed. Scale

Since the average height of men in the world is 1.71m and for women 1.59m, the size of 7.5cm points to a scale of 1:22.5 rather than the one mentioned.
