So did he save the casualty dept then?

Political Ideology

[edit]

What's there now - "Restoration of Kidderminster Hospital's casualty unit" - is clearly outdated, although the party is certainly still very interested in issues relating to the hospital. Other than that, though, I'm not sure HC has an ideology as such, at least not one that can be reduced to a few words. On their site they say that they are "dedicated to the improvement of local services in all areas of concern to the community" - but then who isn't? Loganberry (Talk) 15:07, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Was he he the first independent MP to be reelected since 1979 or 1949. The Article on Richard Taylor states 1949. Franz-kafka (talk) 21:13, 14 February 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Franz-kafka (talkcontribs)

"Independent"

[edit]
He was the only MP elected as an Independent in the 2001 Parliament (but see George Galloway and Andrew Hunter).

Actually, since both he and George Galloway are members and representatives of political parties, neither is truly independent. Hairy Dude (talk) 22:22, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't Andrew Hunter a DUP MP when he left the Tories?Woodhouseian (talk) 19:58, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently Andrew Hunter only joined the DUP in 2004, see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4086871.stm. Also, re Independent Kidderminster Hospital and Health Concern, how can a political party include the word 'Independent'in its name? What does Independent mean in this context? Surely it would normally mean, 'Independent of any political party'? Woodhouseian (talk) 22:47, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Change of Name

[edit]

The party is changing its name http://www.healthconcern.org.uk/pressrelease070908.htm This change should be reflected —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.46.172.25 (talk) 21:54, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Discrepancy in article

[edit]

The numbers of council representatives in the infobox do not match the numbers given in the article. --Walnuts go kapow (talk) 22:52, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The names of personnel in the infobox are different from those given in the article section Organisation, for which I have raised citation need. As the financial figures are for year 2005 I suspect the names in that paragraph also relate to that year.Cloptonson (talk) 11:55, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
