As the opening sentence of the article states, Metz was a "theorist". He was not a film "critic". As the film theory article explains, "Film theory is not to be confused with general film criticism, or film history, though these three disciplines interrelate." Unless I hear any objections, I will rename/move the title to "Christian Metz (theorist)". --Jeremy Butler (talk) 12:31, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
