Missing birds
[edit]I'm hesistant to make any big bold changes to an FA but is it possible that this source may be of use somewhere? It states that the North America bird population "is down by 2.9 billion breeding adults". Seems like the sort of thing that may be worth noting. Europe is also missing some birds. [1] If it were to be added, this section seems like it would make the most sense. I'm sure if one went digging they could find information about other continents as well. - A couple of sentences seem appropriate. In addition to your sentence on North America, a sentence saying a similar fall has been observed in Europe (25% in 40 years) and that these falls have been attributed to intensive farming and habitat loss. It may be hard to find similar surveys for other continents, although you'd expect similar declines in other intensively farmed regions. — Jts1882 | talk 15:59, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
