King Kaalreth

King Kaalreth was born in the year of 2400 Erudin First Age. He came to power in the year 2444 at the throne in the city of Ilmatar-edel. His reign was productive for his people in many regards, opening free trade with the Varythn of the East, traveling the world mapping out its entirety and establishing many astronomical observatories. His greatest acheivement was the inception of the deep space observation satellites and interstellar travel.

When his reign ended in 2519 by his death and the succession of his son, he had established the great planetarium called t-lu AhnaOremu or The Star-Seer. This was the culmination of his reign in that it contained the data of the 130 star systems he visited in his life time. It was the most extensive source of stellar information ever stored by the Erudin. His son Kaalreth II continued his father's legacy.

The Great War of Waeth-edel

The Great War of Waeth-edel was the war waged by the Zhekaron house of Erudin who lived in the dimanor rolothn or Timeless Mountains against the Ilmataron. They waged war upon Ilmatar-edel in the year of 2475 destroying parts of the Great City and taking command of the Western road that led to Waeth-edel. Kaalreth's armies marched west, head-long into the ranks of the enemy and fought them back in a grueling and bloody war that lasted 7 days.

By dawn of the 7th day, the Zhekaron force, which started 25,000 strong retreated with 14 men remaining. The armies of Kaalreth, which was 10,000 strong won a minor victory, returning home with only 300 men. Upon returning home he quickly set up the city restoration and called upon the inactive reserves to come to the aid of defense, if another war was started.

Another war with the Zhekaron was never seen under the reign of Kaalreth, or his son Kaalreth II. But the Ilmataron knew that another war was imminent.
