When you nominate a candidate for speedy deletion please don't remove its content. If you just blank a page and insert {{delete}} then administrators have to browse the history and read previous revisions of the article to know what is actually nominated for deletion and try to guess why. On the other hand, when you enter {{deletebecause|some reason}} (or {{db|reason}} shortcut) at the very beginning of the article while not removing anything, using brief edit summary, then everything is instantly clear for the administrators who delete the candidates and anyone who monitors recent changes, and the reason of the deletion is present in the deletion log.
