- This article seems to concentrate solely on the train services rather than the station itself. Anyone care to add a little about the magnificent station building, or a little history of the railway in Norwich?

Liverpool, Lime Street
[edit]There is no mention of the Central Trains cross-country service to Liverpool Lime Street... only of the lines to Ely/Peterborough. I'm not an expert, but if the destination is Liverpool, isn't the railway also running to Liverpool? 69.140.65.251 02:49, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Rolling Stock on London Liverpool Street route
[edit]This route now uses 125 trains (I think they are hand-me-downs from Virgin). Wilmot1 16:33, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
Only the carriages, not the engine. They're still electric. LewisR 18:41, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Distance from London?
[edit]Afraid I don't have the book, but how many miles/chains is this station down the line from LST? --TBM10 (talk) 20:50, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
- 124 mi 9 ch. Note that is the official mileage, measured via Cambridge; mileages via Ipswich end at Trowse (Lower) Junction, 113 mi 68 ch (via Ipswich), 123 mi 00 ch via Cambridge. So you need to subtract 9 miles 12 chains from the official mileage of Norwich to get the "unofficial" mileage via Ipswich, which is 114 mi 77 ch. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:16, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, I found the distance via Cambridge but in the context of the GEML from Liverpool Street the "unofficial" distance is more appropriate. --TBM10 (talk) 08:57, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
