Gay Icon Project
[edit]In my effort to merge the now-deleted list from the article Gay icon to the Gay icons category, I have added this page to the category. I engaged in this effort as a "human script", adding everyone from the list to the category, bypassing the fact-checking stage. That is what I am relying on you to do. Please check the article Gay icon and make a judgment as to whether this person or group fits the category. By distributing this task from the regular editors of one article to the regular editors of several articles, I believe that the task of fact-checking this information can be expedited. Thank you very much. Philwelch 20:58, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- You might be reading into the use of "admitted" a bit too heavily. --75.2.14.18 11:49, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Palestine or Pennsylvannia?
[edit]I am guessing she was in fact born in PA.--Jrm2007 (talk) 00:28, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
- Guessing is not relevant to an encyclopedia. Do research. At any rate, the article now says, "Born in Palestine." Many celebrity sites claim this. David Spector (talk) 15:37, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

– Primary topic. Of the articles at the dabpage, only this one and the eponymous The Jenny Jones Show receive any significant amount of traffic.[1] 162 etc. (talk) 20:56, 14 January 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Adumbrativus (talk) 03:56, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Underclass King (talk) 21:22, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. The Green Party politician has long-term significance. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:04, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose, per Necrothesp. The Green politician has just enough significance to not make the presenter the PT. Sceptre (talk) 19:03, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support – I am inclined to support per nom's presentation of page views which establishes readers are looking for the presenter. In regards to the opposers concerns, the Green Party politician is already naturally disambiguated with her title (Baroness Jones of Moulsecoomb) and a hatnote can solve any confusion between the presenter and the Green Party politician. cookie monster 755 03:00, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. As others have said, if there is a primary topic it's not obvious that the presenter rather than the politician would be it anyway. And there are other significant people by that name. A primary topic only exists with respect to usage if it is more likely than all the other topics combined—to be the topic sought when a reader searches for that term, all of which makes it most unlikely that there's a primary topic in this case. So far as traffic stats go, see the problem with page views. Andrewa (talk) 07:12, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
