Depictions of "Jan van Riebeeck"
[edit]It has been common knowledge since about 1985 that the original South African Rand does not, in fact, depict Jan van Riebeeck, but rather Bartholomeus Vermuyden.
Yet other than for a single mention in a single paragraph, the entire article references the depiction of Jan van Riebeeck on the notes.
If there is no objection, I am going to correct all of these mistakes in a few weeks' time. Janneman27 (talk) 05:00, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
