for didactic reasons tetrahedrane should be in row 2. perhaps it should say: angle strain also prohibits tetrahedrane but a stabilised derivative does exist rikXL 22:04, 24 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Whether or not tetrahedrane is actually prohibited remains to be seen. Once it forms, it may not actually be able to get out over the hill to become cyclobutadiene. Double sharp (talk) 05:22, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The ones with three faces at each vertex (3.6.6, 3.8.8, 4.6.6, 4.6.8, 3.10.10, 5.6.6, 4.6.10) are not immediately ruled out. Double sharp (talk) 04:40, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
