Notable graves at Green-Wood Cemetery

[edit]

For @Jim.henderson or anyone else who gets out to Green-Wood Cemetery from time to time, I made a custom Google Map with GPS coordinates for the graves of several notable people there which don't have photos on Commons.
(I know I posted this before at some point, and was referred to WikiShootMe, but for the life of me I can't find it.) Nick Number (talk) 19:59, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Nick. I found the conversation I mentioned the other day (although the map must've been from a different one). Regardless, this is now officially an action item. :) — Rhododendrites talk \\ 22:08, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It would be more useful if a list of coordinates could be made available for conversion into Wikidata items. Perhaps someone could figure how to automate the conversion. If WD items existed, next time I'm nearby (hasn't happened in the past few months) they would show on the same map as other photo targets, with automatic conversion from the unphotographed item symbol to the photographed one. A separate distinct map of dozens of points is probably as difficult to make and surely much less useful. Jim.henderson (talk) 04:25, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will probably have some time in the next few weeks to cover some of the ground. Is there a relevant category for GW gravestones to add for Commons uploads? Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 18:38, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Help finding obituary

[edit]

I believe that David M. Kramer (politician), briefly an assemblyman back in the 1980s, died in 2013, due to primary sources I outlined on that page's talk. If anybody cares to take a look for an obituary or RS confirming his death, it would be appreciated. Star Garnet (talk) 23:07, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
