My name is Jurriaan Plesman born in Holland 1927. I migrated to Australia in 1950. I am a retired Nutritional Psychotherapist and interested in the psycho-nutritional aspects of mental illness, especially drug addiction, alcoholism, depression, anxiety attacks, phobias compulsive behaviours, PTSD, OCD. A subject not much favoured by the editors of Wikipedia. I have a degree from Sydney University majoring in psychology, education and philosophy, and have post graduate diplomas in psychotherapy and clinical nutrition. I have worked as Probation and Parole Officer for over 25 years, specializing in addictive behaviour and various personality disorder.

I am the author of a book: "Getting off the Hook" and I am also the editor of the Hypoglycemic Health Association of Australia.
