Talk:Trillion cubic feet
Begrudgingly made article
[edit]I made this article begrudgingly. From one perspective it should be unneccessary, but from another point it may help people understand some commonly used petroleum industry terminology that you commonly see in the news. --Csnewton 18:23, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
Where?
[edit]According to the article
"Trillion cubic feet, commonly abbreviated as Tcf, is an imperial unit of volume used to express large volumes of gas. The term Tcf is common practice in the oil and gas industry and publications related to this industry to describe the volume of natural gas fields."
My question is "Where is this unit used?" I very much doubt that such a unit would be used in metric countries. If I'm correct then it should be mentioned that the unit is restricted to the US. You might as well call it a "US customary unit" whilst you're at it too.
