Please improve on the image, if possible! Grutness|hello? 00:38, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I changed it to an image of a gasmasked soldier in a trench, a pretty iconic, distinctive and historically important aspect of the war. I tried to choose an image that could represent a soldier of any nation involved, even if this particular soldier is an Australian.--Pharos 07:56, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I'd tried a couple of soldier images, but they all looked too blurry at that size. Ideally I'd have liked to find one of those famous pictures of silhouetted battleships (I think it was the Jutland campaign) - in the end I gave up and just put the Kitchener one there. Thanks for the improvement! Grutness|hello? 06:02, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
