Pronunciation
[edit]I'm not sure how to add this to the entry. There are three Avon Rivers in Australia (well, three that I know about) and while the other two are pronounced in the ordinary way - Avon as in the name of the cosmetics company, with a hard "A" as in rave, the WA Avon is pronounced with a soft "A" as in "have". Could some kind soul skilled in these things add it to the article please?

- Not sure about that one - I've always heard it called the "Ay-von" by Perth people. Orderinchaos78 23:12, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
