- It is an ingenious demonstration, but it does only demonstrate the principle for the case where the expansion of the green rod is twice the expansion of the red. Also it might imply to general readers that the expansion or contraction only occurs in descrete jumps. On the other hand the page doesn't really have an illustration of how it works now. --ChetvornoTALK 00:16, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
