I would like to create the article (not-quite-linked from here) for Trigon Engineering Society. However, I wanted to see if there was any reason I shouldn't do this - lack of notoriety (it's only been around for 83 years and only has more than a thousand current/alumni members), the fact that I'm a member and former President (does that fall under Wikipedia:Conflict of interest), etc. I don't want to put in the effort if it's just going to get deleted.
