I seem to recall that the y field could hold immediate data, as well as addresses. Also, as all instructions had a B (index register) field, register B0 was always zero.

AN/USQ?

- It is a designation given to military electronics based on the Joint Electronics Type Designation System (JETDS). All electronics begin with the designation AN/ denoting it is Army-Navy equipment. But since the late 1950s, AN/ includes all military branches. Each letter of the USQ part of the designation has its own meaning. But together, they translate to "Utility Special Combination Systems". The -20 at the end represents that this is the 20th device of its type to be developed.
